"I like how your proposal revolve around the idea of establishing a good relationship among the teachers in my centre. After looking through the whole proposal, I found some parts that are quite questionable. For example, the ‘Sensational Day’, i think that the budget is a little too high for just a 1 day outing. I also have some teachers that will have Saturday shift so how do we go about solving this?

I really like the coffee break idea because i believe it will be a really good breather moment for the teachers to relax and even get to know the other staff in the centre even if it is just for a little while. However i have a concern, if you are taking out my teachers from their class time then will it not lessen the manpower during class? As you know the child-staff ratio in a mega preschool centre is smaller so we need the staff to be attending to the children as much as they can. However i really like the idea and i wish we can implement it in some way after thinking of a solution for the manpower part.

I have a few thoughts about the staff-initiation outing. I’m thinking if it will be a burden for the teachers to come up with an idea for an outing from scratch? I understand that my teachers already have a lot of work to complete and the workload of being in a mega preschool centre is even larger. I am afraid that this idea might backfire and create more conflict with the teachers in the preschool centre instead of forging closer bonds. This is just my take on this idea but we can always ask the teachers in the school as well.

However, i think we should go with the ‘Sensational Day’ and ‘Coffee Break’ idea as it might be a good step to get the teachers talking to one another. If we want to stay positive, maybe they will be open to the staff initiation outing after the first few initiation? Lets pray hard for that."
